Back From Holiday

I hope everyone had a good new year. We spent ours in West Palm Beach with members of my mom's family. It was good to see everyone and there were crazy hijinks that only occur at family gathers. New Year's Eve held a special treat this year. Orginally the whole family gathering went to City Place in West Palm Beach to celebrate new year's. By 10pm we'd splintered into two groups, siblings - wife, sister, and sister's boyfriend - and the rest of the family. We hung out at Wet Willies for 2 hours drinking grain alcohol slushies. It was nice to have this time with my sister and her boyfriend, even more so on New Year's Eve. The next day the wife & I flew into Philly for her mom's birthday, then caught the train back home on the 2nd.

On paper, Two Thousand Five is going to be an interesting year for us. We've some great plans in the works. It will be fun watching how the year shapes up.
