NFL Week 8: The Crest

Week 8 was a very important week. One of the two undefeated teams lost and a controversial call in the final seconds of the another game predicted the outcome of today's election. While there were more losses than wins this week (within this blog's tally, anyway) everyone's percentage is still above .500. The only exception is my team. Sigh, stupid team.

Philly & In-Laws: 7-0 (W)
Patriots & Adam: 6-1 (L)
Giants & Dan: 5-2 (W)
Detroit & Sam: 4-3 (L)
Washington & Me: 2-5 (L)

If the Skins were good, they wouldn't have thrown an interception on the next play! :)

Besides, this was one game where proper liberals needed to suck it up and root for the opponent. Sure, the Skins are 2-5, but politically it was a great outcome.

The Lions played like ass. But their games don't predict squat, so it's just annoying.

Correction: If our quarterback wasn't phoning it in every week he wouldn't have thrown that pass. There is such a thing as 4th down, guy....arg.
