NFL Playoffs

This is stating the obvious for most of my readership - the NFL playoffs being today. My home team (Washington) didn't even come close to a playoff birth. Home teams aside the playoffs are great fun to watch. All the drama and desperation of elimination gives each playoff game a special edge.

I hope that the owners in this story cast off their greed - football has become a great sport because of its revenue sharing ideals. This ideal goes a long way to creating a clean slate for each season. It makes sure that individual talent - not money - has the most influence on a team's performance.

This story should reduce some of the bad publicity basketball incurred earlier this season.
