Gardening At Night

When the Mom stayed with us over the holidays she passed judgment on my attempts at keeping up the front and back yard. The judgment wasn't positive. She educating me on the importance of picking up all the leaves that pool on or around the plants - not just the leaves that are easiest to reach. Now, after I come home from work I gardening by the waning daylight. Soon I will relocated my efforts in the backyard which I ignored all together these last six months.

I am hoping that I can gather up all the leaves before the first major snow arrives in town. In garden education, I learned that leaves crushed under heavy snow being to rot, which can damage plants.

'...Somewhere it must be time for penitence...'
